50th Anniversary Celebrations

                          50th Anniversary Championship Show




To celebrate this wonderful milestone in the history of the Club and Breed in the UK a special weekend has been planned. The Championship Show will be held on Saturday 10th November 2018. There will be two judges, one for each sex, one UK Judge and one Overseas Judge.

On Saturday evening there will be a gala dinner, entertainment, auction etc.

The venue is The Britannina Royal Court Hotel in Coventry, this is a super venue and setting for our event and only 11 miles from Birmingham airport for our overseas visitors.

Accommodation is available for Friday evening 9th November and Saturday 10th November. There will be a carvery available on Friday evening.


Attached is a booking form for accommodation which details the special prices negotiated by the Club and these prices will remain the same. Prices are per room not per person. At this point in time the event seems a long time away but it is important to get your rooms secured.

 The Club only has a limited number of rooms on hold then it will be down to what vacancies the hotel may have available.   This is a very busy hotel because of its location and there will be other events going on, so please don’t miss out and book as soon as possible.

A credit card number is all that is required at this stage. Please note no payment will be taken until 8 weeks before the event.

Rooms will be booked on a first come basis and they will book up the ground floor first, with the dogs in mind.

Please note only Lowchen will be able to attend and stay at this event, no other breeds.

Dogs must be crated when in the guest rooms and there will be a charge to the guest for any damage caused. The dogs will have access to use all the grounds of the hotel.

Accommodation must be booked directly to the hotel, using the attached form which can be posted or emailed to our booking contact Nav.


Attached also is a booking form for the gala dinner.

 Bookings for the Gala dinner must come to the Secretary Mary Pascoe.

A deposit is required at this stage with full payment due 12 weeks before the event.

There will be a table plan on the night, you have the option on the booking form to book individually or book a table for 8 or 10 people.

 There will be a choice of menu, also with vegetarian, gluten free etc options available.

You will be contacted by the Secretary nearer the time for full details of your meal choices.

The most important thing at this point is to secure your bookings for the Gala dinner.


The Officers and Committee will be working hard to make this a wonderful event and celebration for everyone. We will keep you and the website updated as further plans are finalised.

To make this a super event to remember it needs everyone to come together support and attend.
